Easy Steps To Search Optimize Your Fanbox Blogs
Before I start to layout the steps on how to optimize your fan box blog posts, we must first understand that optimizing a blog post on fanbox is no different then optimize a website or a blog on Google, the algorithm system is the same on here as it is on the search engines. Ever hear that saying " do not try to reinvent the wheel" well that saying applies here too.If you want more visitors to your fanbox blog posts then you MUST optimize your blog posts and when you optimize your blog post on fanbox guess what else happens...you "get found" on Google also. In addition, you can also rank #1 on the fanbox search results, ever wonder how some posts rank #1 on certain keywords on fanbox? For example if you look at my results you will see that I rank #1 for the keyword "love making" ..how do you think I got there? I optimized it!!!
Optimizing your post will get you free traffic in the search results and it will also increase your click through rate (CTR) on the ads you run for your fanbox blog posts. It is okay if you do not understand it now but when you are finished reading this post not only will you understand it but you will triple your results.
You can also optimize and promote your fanbox blog posts on other platforms such as digg, reddit, delicious, facebook, twitter etc. by using the same optimization methods and all you have to do is use the URL given to you when you created your blog post. What this also does is create back links to your fanbox blog post and eventually it goes viral on the internet by using social media and when you achieve that then you start to earn BIG BUCKS without doing anymore work, in other words your earnings are on auto pilot.
Anyway lets get back to the basic fundamental on optimizing your blog post first and then I will do another tutorial on going viral with your fanbox blog posts on social media.
HOT TIP: Keep in mind that just because you did not write your blog post does not mean you cannot make changes to it by adding relevant keywords to it yourself. You can edit and or add anything you want to any blog post regardless where you found it from.
Here are the first steps you need to do to your fanbox blog posts:
On Page SEO
What Is On Page SEO?
On page seo is a term used to describe the search engine optimization techniques used on the blog post itself, in this case your fanbox blog post.First thing you must do is select the targeted keyword that is relevant to your blog post. Then you must use the targeted keywords (tags) in your title, H tags ( H stands for heading and the H tags range from H1 to H6) and then in your content, thereby showing the algorythims relevancy in your blog posts.
Title Tags
The title tag is your single most important on page seo element and hold the most weight than everything else. It is the first thing people read and it is the first thing the search engines see including fanbox. It is also the determining factor if a user will decide to click on your post or not, not only do you have to use your targeting keywords in the title but you also need to use words to capture the attention of users enough for them to want to click on your post and read it. The title tag should be a strong captivating description of the main topic of the blog post and should be and cannot be no more than 55 characters. This is your most valuable piece of real estate when it comes to optimizing your blog post so use it smart and wisely.
How To Use H Tags To Increase Search Results
The H1 tag is to be used only once in your blog post, the H1 tag is very similar to the title tag from an seo perspective and must align together from a keyword stand point. The H1 heading should equally be a strong captivating description of the main topic of the blog post just as the title tag and should be no more than 150 characters, basically the H1 tag is an extension of the title tag. As for the H2 to H6 tags they are the sub topics relevant to the H1 tags. It is very Impotant to place your targeted keywords in this structure because that is how you establish your targeted keyword relevancy to be picked up by the algorythims. You should also bold the keyword in your content, by bolding the keyword you accomplish 2 things here, first your are capturing the attention of your readers and you are telling the algorythims the bolded keyword is important and relevant to your blog post.
Discovering and Choosing Keywords (tags) and Search Terms
When you create a new blog post the first thing fanbox does after you click "save" is bring up the window for you to add your keyword tags, fanbox only gives you 6 boxes to insert up to 6 keyword tags, now that does not mean you cannot insert more keywords, in fact you can insert an unlimited amount of keyword tags, all you have to do is after you have published your blog post go back to it and add additional keywords just like you do when you are catagorizing other peoples blog posts, at this point you can add an unlimited amount of keywords, just make sure they are relevant keywords, DO NOT by any means use keywords for the sake of quantity cause all you will accomplish is discrediting yourself not only to your visitors but to the algorythims of fanbox and search engines alike. Remember, that your fanbox blog posts can be found on Googles organic search results so keep your keyword selections relevant to your blog topic. There are 2 places for you to research you keywords for your fanbox blogs: Google Keyword Tools and Fanbox Keyword search terms
This is how I recommend you use both these tools...First you go to the fanbox keyword search terms and find the most popular relevant keywords for your blog post, choose 6 of them and those will be the 6 you insert when prompted by fanbox upon completing your new blog post, now you take those same 6 keywords you chose and go to Google keyword tool and one by one you do a search for more keyword ideas based off your chosen six. Google will give you hundreds of other related keywords, find the ones most related and relevant to your blog post and add them to your search terms.
How To Use The Image Alt Tag To Increase Search Results
This is very very very important, ill explain what it is and then ill explain how it can drive a lot of traffic to your blogs if done correctly. The alt is an abbreviation of the word alternate and it is the assigned tag for images because the search engines cannot see, they can only read so this being the case the purpose of the alt tag is to be used as the alternative method for describing to the search engines what our image is about. Now this is the important part....your image alt tags must have a relevant keyword description in it describing the image and when you use the alt tag correctly then your image will be found on Google!!! Yeeaahh!! Cool right? This is another way to drive more traffic to your blog posts on fanbox because that image that is on your fanbox blog post will link directly to your blog...get it? In addition the image becomes a link and the alt tag becomes the anchor text within the link on the image thereby creating a back link to your blog post giving your blog better ranking juice.
